Hello,
I am excited to welcome you to the Seneca Rotary Club's website and thank you for visiting. Our club celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2008, making it one of the oldest Rotary Clubs in South Carolina.
The focus of our club this year is in keeping with Rotary International's theme of "Making Dreams Real." We will be working hard to support programs that help the children in Oconee County who are at risk. We will also continue recognizing outstanding academic achievement with our Seneca Rotary Scholars program. Our Rotary Student of the Month program will continue to recognize students in grades K-12 who are not typical "award winners" in hopes that encouragement and public recognition will inspire them to higher levels of achievement. We also will continue our support to the Salvation Army Bell Ringing Project and collection of toys for Christmas for the Marvin's Kids Project
Our club membership works at all home Clemson University football games, taking up tickets to raise money for our service projects. We also hold a spring and fall Bass Tournament to raise funds.
We recently relocated to Butterbeans Restaurant as our meeting location and have seen strong enthusiasm for the new environment and meal options. With our new and improved location, we are focusing on growing the membership of our club, and would invite you to visit us on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.
As president of our Rotary Club, I am looking forward to a busy year as we continue to apply the Four Way Test and the follow the Rotary Motto "Service Above Self."
If I can answer any questions for you, please feel free to call me @ 864-885-7909 or email me at President@senecarotary.org
Our club is fun and relaxed. Come join us!
Yours in Rotary,
Debbie DuBose
